
Machinery Vandalized At Lincoln Railyard

Vandals left their mark on a Lincoln railyard over the Memorial Day weekend. Captain Todd Kocian says officers were called to OL&B Railway near 18th and Dudley around 8:30 Tuesday morning.
"An employee reported that several pieces of machinery stored in the railyard lot were damaged," Kocian says. "Several pieces of machinery including a skid loader, pipe layers and an excavator had been moved throughout the lot and damaged."
Several pieces of equipment had the windows shattered and graffiti spray painted on them. Damage to the equipment is estimated at $26,000.
